Wellbeing Committee

The Wellbeing Committee is a student-led group which focuses on ensuring that mental health, emotional wellbeing and the overall experience of  students is positive.

Anyone in our Sixth Form can join the Committee. Meetings are held termly and students plan activities, promote wellbeing awareness, listen to others and act as a link between students and staff.

The Committee:

  • promotes awareness & understanding (students are helped to have conversations about mental health. This builds resilience and encourages open dialogue about wellbeing across the community);

  • provides peer-led support;

  • encourages a supportive culture;

  • gives students a voice (the committee gathers feedback from students about how they are feeling, what stresses they face and what changes might help).
