External Agencies

We are delighted to work with a range of external agencies to provide professional support which is beyond that of those who work in school.

Youthworks Counselling – Part of the REACH Collaborative

Students have access to a youth counsellor in and out of school without the waiting times of an independent referral. Students have the opportunity to discuss their wellbeing and process how they are feeling with a trained professional who is not a member of school staff.

Thriving in Life – Part of the REACH Collaborative

Thriving in Life is a new service which combines the NHS support of the School Nursing Team and a Youth Worker. Thriving in Life hold drop-in sessions and provide support over a broad range of areas including emotional health, healthy relationships, healthy choices and reducing risk taking.

Souster Youth

Souster Youth works with small groups of students. This intervention provides students with coping strategies for issues such as anxiety, anger, self-harm, grief and low self worth. While supporting their own wellbeing, students also build relationships with others in the group.

The Mental Health Support Team (MHST)

MHST is a branch of the NHS. It offers early intervention for mild to moderate mental health concerns. Referrals to this service are usually made through Heads of Year.
