GCSE Results Day 2025

Students have achieved an impressive set of results and once again, have performed significantly above the national figures published today.

In both GCSEs and vocational qualifications, all students have performed well, whatever their starting points. The school was delighted that 35 students achieved at least 8 GCSEs at grades 7-9 in their results.

And for two students, this was a really special day. Esther Hobbs and Charlotte Revell had a clean sweep of grade 9s in all of the ten subjects they studied. Esther said, ‘I’m very happy with my results. School has been excellent in supporting me for the past 5 years. Charlotte said, ‘I am really proud of what I’ve achieved and so thankful for all the help my teachers gave me.’

Boys bucked the national trend with their performance and their results are a testament to the hard work they have put in alongside girls in these all important exams. Damisola Ademola achieved grades 7-9 in 9 subjects. His father said, ‘He wouldn’t have achieved these grades without the school. Everyone’s worked incredibly hard to help him achieve his potential.’

Miss Silverthorne said, ‘We are thrilled once again with the way our Year 11 students have risen to the challenge of GCSEs this year. I am so proud of their achievements today. They took full advantage of all the support we offered them, built resilience and today is the reward they so richly deserve.

‘On days like these, it can be easy to focus on those achieving the highest grades, but I am also incredibly proud of each student for the progress they have made. These results will enable them to move to their next stage at school, college or into work with confidence. We wish each of them the very best for the future, whatever path they take.’
