The Tutorial Programme for Key Stage 3 enables us to fulfil our School’s Intent by developing character within a safe context and enabling students to make healthy and responsible choices. The programme prepares them for progression and personal development is at its heart.
It is designed to complement the PSHE programme and our Core Values are embedded throughout. Students undertake lessons enabling them to become well-rounded, responsible citizens. These lessons range from what it is like in the world of work, the impacts of bullying and how to prevent it, to careers and the option choices made during Year 9 in preparation for GCSE.
