One of our aims is that students leave us happy and healthy, and for that reason, sport is high on our agenda. Many students take part in a huge range of sporting opportunities beyond PE lessons. Whether students are at the top of their game or trying out for the first time, all are welcome.
The high class indoor and outdoor facilities cater for clubs for each year group. Practices and training take place at lunchtimes and after school.
Students regularly take part in local, county and national competitions, and have an enviable track record in these. Bishop Stopford School is the only secondary school in Northamptonshire to win the coveted School Games Mark GOLD Award!
The Clubs and Activities Guide outlines the main programme of extra-curricular sport; other opportunities do arise throughout the year and are advertised through our general communications.
