School Information

Our school dates back to 1535, when the rector of St Peter and St Paul directed one of his curates to "instruct boys of the parish". The Church of England went on to establish four more schools in Kettering including the parochial school which was opened in 1819 in the Horsemarket.

The Christian ethos at Bishop Stopford underpins all we do, and our school values permeate into all aspects of school life.  Stemming from the belief that God values and intends fullness of life for each individual person, we strive to make that a reality through our commitment to help each and every student develop to their full potential, and in so doing become people who will make a positive impact on the world.

During term time the school site is open to students from 8 a.m. to 3.15pm and between 3.15 and 5 p.m. for specific school activities.
