At Bishop Stopford School, Humanities is a large and high performing Faculty comprising History, Geography and Religious Education. All students study Geography and/or History and RE at GCSE. We are unapologetically academic, and learning in our Faculty is focussed on enabling students to engage confidently with the wider world.

Each department has a curriculum which both nurtures and challenges and Heads of Subject design their curriculums to ensure good progress for all.

The results of the Faculty in public examinations are consistently impressive at GCSE and A Level. Many students go on to study the Humanities subjects at university.
