There is some flexibility in Further Maths course options but you will need to study Further Pure Mathematics which will count for 50% of the course.  The other 50% is likely to be made up of additional Further Pure topics and additional Mechanics.

Further Pure Compulsory

You will study proof, complex numbers, matrices, further algebra and functions, further calculus, further vectors, polar coordinates, hyperbolic functions and differential equations.

Further Mathematics Option 1 *

Further calculus, further differential equations, coordinate systems, further vectors, further numerical methods and inequalities will be studied.

Further Mechanics 1 *

The topics of momentum and impulse, collisions, centres of mass, work and energy, elastic strings and springs will be covered.
