We are very proud of the range of opportunities which we offer. These both nurture and challenge our students. They also foster independence and interdependence, helping students to discover new strengths and to unlock their potential.
Students regard this offer very highly, with incredible participation of students at each key stage.
We currently have over 70 clubs and activities students can join – an astonishing number! These span a huge range from Art to Science, Crochet to Chess and Gardening to Reading to name just a few.
Our Chapel daily runs highly popular clubs as we support students in their spiritual lives and – as you’d expect – this is complemented with extensive sporting, musical and drama programmes.
Most activities are hosted by staff, but some groups are led by students. Our Societies, for example, are ‘by sixth form students for all students’ – in turn developing their leadership skills.
And because we want to provide as many avenues for students to explore as possible, our clubs and activities programme is also complemented by many other events in which students take part in their forms, year groups or as a whole school. Here are just a few:
- STEM Day
- Culture Day
- Christmas Hampers
- International Day
- Enterprise Day
- Mental Health Week
- Book Week
- School Walk
