Select the Secondary school your group has been assigned and this should give you the data for the secondary school, which was the result of a site visit, and provide you with a map of the site and information about the ICT infrastructure.

Your solution should therefore include designs for both the lead school and the secondary school your team has been assigned.  

For the lead school you are allocated you should produce a detailed design report inclusive of appropriate diagrams, hardware listings, pricing etc which will include a justification of all elements of your design solution.  In terms of the equipment to be used you should research the hardware models and include a specification of all equipment and costing model for the client as part of the report.  In terms of diagrams you should include logical and physical diagrams of the network solution for both schools.  Full listings of security measures should be presented identifying which ports they will be placed on.  It is also suggested that recommendations are made as far as WAN design and how all schools could achieve enhancement for this provision.  In the justification full reference should be made to all IEEE and EIA/TIA standards employed within your solution.   

For the secondary school you are allocated you should produce a three framed web page design report inclusive of appropriate diagrams, hardware listings, pricing etc which will include a justification of all elements of your design solution.  The different sections should contain hyperlinks between pages.  In terms of the equipment to be used you should research the hardware models and include a specification of all equipment and costing model for the client as part of the report.  In terms of diagrams you should include logical and physical diagrams of the network solution for both schools.  Full listings of security measures should be presented identifying which ports they will be placed on.  It is also suggested that recommendations are made as far as WAN design and how all schools could achieve enhancement for this provision.  In the justification full reference should be made to all IEEE and EIA/TIA standards employed within your solution.

In addition you must produce a PowerPoint presentation that will last approximately 25 minutes that will summarise the solutions your team has proposed.  All members of the team must be involved in the presentation.
