UCAS - Universities & colleges admissions service for the UK. A useful interactive site where you can click on subjects and click on any course you want, for example engineering, plus specify your search. This is a great site for teachers to be aware of if they are approached by pupils about where they can study a particular course.
World Book Day - This is the site for World Book Day in UK and Ireland (6 March in 2003). All schools already receive a pack with resources and display material, but the site is well worth a visit for competitions, activities, recommended reads, details of the £1 books published specially for World Book Day and much more.
