Leadership Partner School Specialist Status

In 2009, we were delighted to be awarded our second specialism as a High Performing Specialist School (HPSS), focusing on excellence in leadership.

We are currently one of approximately fifty schools nationally to be designated a Leadership Partner School, working closely with the National College of School Leadership (NCSL) and the Youth Sport Trust (YST).  Leadership Partner Schools are defined as “National hubs for the development of outstanding leadership and succession planning strategies.”

Our vision is founded on our belief that the single most important thing that schools can do, as part of ensuring positive and successful student outcomes, is to ensure high-quality leadership and management.  The contribution of leadership and management to school improvement is crucial. 

Our vision encompasses planned and cohesive leadership development for all members of our community.
